How We Work

Materials with Purpose
We carefully select fabrics that are recycled, regenerated, or biodegradable. Each material is chosen to last, feel good on your skin, and reduce waste. We are constantly exploring new biological and low-impact materials that can return to the Earth safely at the end of their life.

Responsible Production in Europe
All our garments are made in Portugal and Estonia, where we can monitor production closely. This ensures fair working conditions, skilled craftsmanship, and a reduced environmental footprint compared to overseas mass production.

Slow Fashion for Lasting Use
We design clothes that last both in style and quality. Limited production, durable fabrics, and timeless design mean women can build a permanent training wardrobe. Our goal is not to chase trends but to create pieces you’ll rely on for years.

Bluesign®
A system that ensures sustainable production from chemical safety to resource efficiency. It means that the water, energy, and chemicals used in your clothes are handled responsibly, keeping both people and the planet safe.

Global Recycled Standard (GRS)
This certification verifies that recycled materials in our products are traceable and responsibly sourced. It guarantees that your garment contributes to a circular economy and reduces the need for new raw materials.

ECONYL® – Regenerated Nylon
We use ECONYL® to give old materials a second life. By transforming waste into new fabric, we reduce ocean and landfill pollution while cutting down on virgin resources, giving each garment a meaningful second life.

We believe every piece deserves a second story.

When your WECY garment has reached the end of its journey with you, we give you the power to send it back and earn points in our shop when you do.

Through our take-back program, we welcome garments in all conditions.

Some pieces are given new life in our Pre-Loved Store, others become part of our remake or upcycling projects, and the ones that are truly at the end of their lifecycle are recycled into new materials.

By returning your old WECY products, you help us keep materials in motion and out of landfills giving every piece the chance to live again in the most responsible way possible.
